USS America (LHA-6) is an amphibious assault ship and lead ship of her class. Massachusetts Maritime Academy was established in 1891  in Buzzards Bay, Mass.  and is the second oldest state maritime academy in the United States. The academy operates a training ship, the USTS Kennedy.

HMCS Iroquois DDG-280 is the lead ship of the Iroquois-class destroyers of the Canadian Navy,. The Iroquois was built in 1970 and was in service between1972-2014. The Iroquois entered a midlife refit in 1992: this painting is of the pre refit ship.

Bristol Ferry Lighthouse is located in Bristol, Rhode Island at the base of the Mount Hope Bridge. Built in 1855 with the half story brick keepers house.  It was deactivated in 1927 when the Bridge was built. The lighthouse has is registered a national historic place.
